City Council District 5 - East Side of Manhattan

 

City Council District 5 in Manhattan is an open seat this year.  It is currently held by Jessica Lappin, who is running for Manhattan Borough President. 

Neighborhoods:  Upper East Side & Roosevelt Island

Election Date:  Tuesday, Sept. 10th, 2013, Democratic primary.  (Probably a safe Democratic seat.)
